The codex dates from the first half of the 13th century, Italy, it is a copy of a late antique pattern from the 6th century. Facsimile: Graz 1971. Complete colour facsimile edition of the 322 pp. (161 fol.) in original size (275 x 186 mm). More than 400 illustrations. Most of them in colour, partly with gold, pen drawings in the margin. Binding: leather. All folios are cut according to the original.
Commentary volume: Graz 1972. Medicohistorical introduction (in English) by C. H. Talbot, London, codicological and iconographical introduction (in German) by F. Unterkircher, Vienna, 80 pp. text, 7 plates. Binding: half leather.
