Facsimile exhibition in Bratislava |

The National Library and ADEVA organized a great exhibition in the library which presented book painting during the centuries. "3000 years of book painting – book art from 5 cultures" was not only the title of the exhibition, but also its motto. And so visitors could take a look on a wide range of manuscripts as perfect Fine Art Facsimile Editions from ADEVA: from the Papyrus Ani from old Egypt to antique manuscripts, carolingian masterpieces to ottonic codices. Of course the late Middle Ages and the Gent-Brughes artists were also present in the exhibition which alo gave an impression of other cultures of the world such as Byzantium, India and the mesoamerican cultures. |
